Steve Canham2025-08-02Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We worked with Sara for a series of build-in bookshelves and desk area as part of a renovation project. Sara was very attentive and knew things in and out to help design the best use of our space and piece together the details from our rough concept. We quickly circled back to her midway through to add on some additional bookshelves and built-in cabinets. The quality was excellent, and the price was quite competitive with a quick turnaround. We'd definitely recommend and use Sara and Carole Kitchen and Bath Design again. David Clark2025-07-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From start to finish, Sara, our designer, was a dream to work with! She is truly the most patient angel on earth! Sara took the time to really listen to everything I wanted and somehow managed to add every single item from my wish list into the design of a kitchen that is both beautiful and incredibly practical. The cabinets (Dura Supreme) are absolutely beautiful. Great quality. It is worth mentioning tha during installation, Chris was also a fantastic support! He was knowledgeable, responsive, and always ready to help! We will definitely be returning to Carole’s Kitchen when it’s time to update our bathroom. Highly recommend! Megan Panzano2025-03-31Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kristen at Carole's Kitchen and Bath Design was amazing! She was detail-oriented, listened really well to what we wanted to worked with our family on refining our kitchen design until it was exactly right for our space and family needs. We did work through a custom cabinet that didn't end up being manufactured to our specifications (the only reason to remove 1 star), but aside from this issue, it was a wonderful experience!
This gal knows her stuff! Kathy has more than 40 years of experience in the kitchen and bath design industry. She makes it her personal mission to make sure your kitchen becomes your dream come true. Kathy treats each customer like family and takes her designs to heart.
Kathy remodeled her kitchen in 2021 and chose cabinets from TeddWood. She is a big fan of frameless construction cabinets so she went with TeddWood’s Luxury Series and the Graceland Door (which is a flat panel style). Kathy used Quarter Sawn Oak with a dark grey stain on her base cabinets and HDF cabinets painted in light grey with a brushed black glaze on her wall cabinets. Her counters and full height backsplash are made out of a unique natural stone called quartzite (the color is Scandalous).
Sara explains that her design philosophy is, “to design a functional, beautiful kitchen by incorporating the client’s needs and wants, while keeping budget in mind.” To complement Sara’s more than 25 years of on-the-job kitchen and bath design experience at Carole’s, is her degree in Interior Design from Mt. Ida College.
Sara recently remodeled her kitchen and chose KraftMaid cabinets. She picked the Renway door in maple with Barley stain. To compliment the cabinets she chose Viatera’s Carbo brushed quartz material (which we have on display in the Carole’s showroom).
Mary Jane concentrates on a space and develops it into a livable and workable area, while still incorporating a fresh, innovative look. Individuality, aesthetics, and quality products are consistently found in Mary Jane’s designs. Also a seasoned designer with Carole’s for over 25 years, Mary Jane is a graduate of Newbury College and Mt. Ida College and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
Mary Jane recently remodeled her kitchen with Dura Supreme cabinets. She has a beaded inset Arcadia Panel door style in “paintable” (instead of maple) and she chose a Putty paint color. Her counters are Imperial Macuabus quartzite.
“I love my utensil pullout, my trash pullout, all of my pantry storage and my paneled dishwasher,” says Mary Jane.
Stacey has been designing kitchen and bathrooms since 2004 and she has been in the design industry since 2000. Stacey has a firm understanding of the functionality of spatial layouts and can make even the smallest spaces efficient. She quickly understands clients needs and has an amazing ability to translate them into creative designs reflective of the customers budget and aesthetics, much like our other kitchen designers in Boston.
Stacey designed her kitchen using cabinets from Diamond. Her cabinet door style has a raised panel and is made of natural cherry wood with white paint. For countertops, she chose a granite color called St. Lucia. She loves her tray divider cabinet and her bread drawer.
Maryellen has a passion for meeting new clients and making their kitchen dreams come true. With over 10 years in the home improvement industry, she has worked on many projects from small galley kitchens to full scale developments. She loves bringing colors into every space and brings a fun, positive outlook on all her projects.
For almost two decades, Kristen has been an interior design professional, focusing on kitchens and bathrooms. She holds degrees from Boston University and Boston Architectural College. For Kristen, every design is unique and every client is important. When she is designing a kitchen or bath, listening to the client’s needs and preferences is her first priority. Kristen produces designs that focus on desired functionality while incorporating aesthetically pleasing details. She strives to build strong client and contractor relationships during the design process to ensure a smooth installation and successful end product.
Kristen readily admits she needs to update her kitchen. She has a raised panel door in a cream color from KraftMaid plus black polished granite counters.
When she does remodel her kitchen, she dreams of having a shaker door style with inset cabinets and plans to mix walnut with warm paint tones (think beige, taupe, or grey-green). And she really wants white macaubus quartzite countertops with full height backsplashes…which are always stunning.
Frank brings over 30 years of design experience to Carole’s. He has installed cabinets and countertops, he ran his own business, and he has a wealth of knowledge about cabinet installation and construction. He is a terrific problem-solver with challenging spaces. Frank loves to help clients brainstorm and explain the unique options we have at Carole’s. Also, he juggles the entire delivery schedule (incoming and outgoing)…not an easy task at Carole’s which designs and delivers about 300 kitchens per year!
Donny is the behind-the-scenes hero of Carole’s. Donny has been driving and delivering for Carole’s for about 30 years, and whether he is delivering to a residential home, unloading a truck, or helping out on a philanthropic delivery mission (such as the monthly pick-ups for the local food pantry Carole’s has committed to), he will get the job done and keep everyone laughing all the while!
Sophia recently moved from Chicago, where she first dipped her toes in the interior design world as a kitchen designer and warehouse manager at a cabinet company. Her positive energy and passion for people is something every customer sees during each visit and interaction. She loves seeing clients happy about getting the dream space they desire.
Sophia’s kitchen is Mantra cabinets in Omni Snow. She had Galaxy Black Granite countertops. She loves the soft close feature they have, especially with having a toddler at home.
The level of detail and minutia that goes into behind-the-scenes kitchen cabinetry ordering and project accounting is enormous. Sue and Karen are each incredibly detail-oriented, meeting highest standards every day to get the job done well. They are committed to our team and to our clients and do an exemplary job communicating with numerous vendors and throughout every step of the project to support the team. We could not do what we do so well without their industry expertise and reliability. Karen has been with Carole’s for 10 years now and Sue has been with Carole’s over 30 years!
Born a carpenter’s daughter, Melanie has been surrounded by the home improvement industry all her life. She was able to witness the hard work and finesse that goes into cabinetry building and the passion behind the craftsman. Mel enjoys hearing and seeing the joy the client gets when their project is completed. She is always smiling and quick with a “Dad” joke (Example: What’s a sheep’s favorite countertop? Laminate! Baaahahahaha).
Melanie’s kitchen has KraftMaid cabinets that have a Toffee stain on a Marquette door style made of maple. She has Formica counter tops.
From start to finish, Chris is there to help customers and contractors with their project. Chris’ passion is helping clients with their kitchens, ensuring they receive excellent service before, during, and after their cabinets installation.
